Energy-Efficient 3D Path Planning for Complex Field Scenes Using the Digital Model with Landcover and Terrain

Path planning is widely used in many domains, and it crucial for the advancement of map navigation, autonomous driving, robot path planning. However, existing methods have certain limitations complex field scenes with undulating terrain diverse landcover types. This paper presents an energy-efficient 3D algorithm based on improved A* particle swarm scenes. The evaluation function was to be suitable slope parameter friction coefficient were respectively represent different features selection expanding nodes depends not only minimum distance but also consumption cost. Furthermore, turning radius factor threshold vehicles added definition impassable points algorithm, so that accessibility could guaranteed by excluding some bends steep slopes. To meet requirements multi-target planning, as fitness solve traveling salesman problem. experimental results showed proposed capable planned this more passable energy efficient. In environment model, average energy-saving efficiency 14.7% compared traditional algorithm. would beneficial development ecotourism geological exploration.
